More seriously though, I actually don't care for the option at all, I don't need nor want it. I just felt like poking a bit of fun since a lot of people jump straight to mods to "fix" stuff they don't like about the game, when it's not a viable option for everyone. I know you technically can mess with files on console too, but I'm not risking that when I have no clue what I'm doing.

Tbh there's just something about this that sorta reeks of entitlement to me.
You're playing an online game you're gonna have to accept that not everything you see is going to be what you want.

I am not saying that people asking for this altogether are entitled, but the more extreme side of things where people are acting like this is some huge issue and especially those who are like shaming people for their glams etc.
Like this is just some weird micro-managing thing that comes across as a bit absurd and like a waste of resources to me.
And why this very specific thing?
There are so many other things that annoy people you could throw in a toggle for but the moment it has anything to do with sexuality is when it's suddenly a '' problem ''.
Like what about ridiculous mounts and minions all over the place or haircuts you don't like or people who don't like glowy weapons or just fantasy weapon designs altogether?

The glamour is actually canon in the game too just as a side note.
I am not exactly 110% sure of how it works but I'd have to imagine that using glamour magic to make your chestpiece for example invisible is an actual possibility.
It's even used at one point in the story to change the appearance of something in a very drastic way I don't want to get into spoilers but I don't think there is anything stopping anyone from glamouring their plate breastplate into looking like a shirt or to be invisible.

Hi! What you're looking to do is a texture/item swap. Basically, google "Nexus Mods" for a start. This is a site that commonly has files for many games that tweak things (usually textures). Most notably Skyrim/Fallout.

Ultimately, you'll need to find out where the file for, say, 2B's legs (for each race/gender), and replace it with, I dunno, perhaps the starter armor. You will also need a tool they have to inject changes.

For example, there is a mod that fully enables hats on Hrothgar/Viera. >.>

Disclaimer/Covering my butt: This is against ToS technically, and will likely be overwritten whenever there's an update. (so keep whatever you overwrite handy to re-swap).
I am not recommending breaking the ToS, just answering your question.

Maybe instead of complaining about other people’s glam choices, they should ask the devs why tank/drg, mnk/sam, nin/ranged, caster/healer share the same armor sets instead of having unique sets for each category.

I'm not sorry that you're offended by my my glamours, and I have no plans to make any of them any less revealing.
If I end up in one of your random duty roulette runs, then you'll just have to deal with having a nearly-naked party member, especially if it's prae where I will be taking up 1/3rd of the screen every time the group is shown in the cutscenes.
