Oh I remember Gordias raid progression well, nothing like wanting to be an Ast but by the very design of the raid tier and job, couldn't because it was that much difference between Noct Ast and Sch that I was forced to go and level Sch up by end of week 1.

Still had to wait a few more weeks before Ast got a buff to its HEALING POTENCIES (no i'm not salty just really want to highlight that they undertuned Ast with its primary duty because they were scared it would replace both Whm and Sch) to be a competently designed healer to handle the Gordias raid, and even then it was only Diurnal that was adequate enough, Nocturnal was still a don't bother just go Sch for months.

As someone who was progging Gordias when it was current content ( I only made it to A4s as a Sch) the amount of little things you'd do to try and increase your damage was absurd, this tier was really the tier where the kid gloves came off how do I maximise my damage as a healer.

And one of the biggest issues with this tier, the goddamn accuracy caps were near impossible to reach as a healer you needed every single solitary materia slot to have accuracy, remember Healers had the same accuracy cap as Casters did but next to 0 accuracy on any of their gear, SE by design did not want healers hitting the bosses 100% of the time, they just allowed enough melds to be able to meet it just.

I completely forgot about the accuracy caps, they started getting rough around FCOB when SE neglected to scale healer acc up for the new tier and yeah, it was something else come Gordias.
