Not when the game didn't started like this to begin with and when said costumes are more silly jokes and just there as a novelty and are not lore friendly. Some people just want the have the classic fantasy RPG experience like the game used to be to begin with. Option is always good. It doesn't effect others, just a personal toggle. There could be areas, like the Flying Saucer and some areas in Main Towns were said option is off always, no way to change it. But in the outside world and dungeons, there should be an easy to implement and simple quick local graphical option to toggle all glamours off for the sake of a better and more immersive experience in touch with the actual world and lore of the game. Just the way I see it.
