How can you say you don't know what to do with Scholar, when you have thousands of people telling you what to do for years?

Scholars want the old Scholar back. Give us back Bio Maiasma and bane.
Remove the crappy Fairie guage that's only used on 2 spells (one of which costs basically nothing).
And make pet actions ogc and let us micro our pets.
Nobody wants a 1 button aoe rotation.

The team working on the job actions/balancing needs a rework itself because they clean don't know what they're doing with healers.
Endwalker will be Another middle finger to healers and will continue the trend of DPS checks for everyone. GG on taking that step l towards ruining the game.

They know very well what they are doing, as WoW did at this stage in the life cycle. Appeal to those with the cognitive capabilities of a potato. Depth of a puddle is the new norm and with it, people should have known better than to expect anything to change. When you market to the lowest common denominator; yes you can expect profit surge from short term interest - but a lack of potential personal development/skill attainment remains unfulfilling and thus boring long term. Retention is no longer necessary. Just the printing of short term en-mass entry passes.

They removed the cost on the aoe heal from the fairy gauge, from what I could see on the trailer lol, so only tether again? :'D

Ignore is such a strong word. I prefer the much stronger word "neglect". But when I think of this, I'm not thinking about players; I'm thinking about the job itself. The Endwalker abilities trailer sums up the last 4 years of SCH. Literally next to nothing stood out in comparison to the other healers, and especially Sage. If I was a new player looking at this and wanting to decide which barrier healer I want to use, why on Earth would I choose SCH? Because I get a fairy? Admittedly a strong case, but not when pit up against a Gundam healer who gets a scaled down version of Omega Weapon's ultimate attack in bug form.

Go and look back at the trailer if you have not already, and notice that the SCH doesn't even utilize the two gauges it is given. This is a showcase trailer and it really pisses me off when they say something along the lines of being very careful to give everything the attention it needs, even the side quests and stuff, and then see SCH get this kind of treatment. They are NOT giving it the attention it needs; not by a long shot.

I couldn't care less about getting 3.x SCH back. What I would like to see are the jobs receiving equal treatment when it comes to their conception, implementation, updates and adjustments. The treatment SMN received should have also been given to SCH. Again, and again I will say that SCH is the spare to the heir, Tyrion Lannister, red-headed step child of this game. These devs and by extension Yoshi give off the impression that they just do not like this job.

Let's not forget WHM, you see how they skipped over its slide in no time? And all we got was this new auto turret heal so we can spend more time casting f cking glare with its 1.5 second recast time.

I'm out, ive uninstalled FF14, I was expecting to be disappointed but its still baffling that they managed to DOUBLE DOWN on 5.0's changes.

Thank you, I fixed it. Though, the "water shield" is Divine Benison, it just looks slightly different. The slides confirmed they gave Divine Benison a charge system. Hence why the Trailer shows 2 shields being used within 30s.
