    Seems like a decent concept, but I think it would work better with a 2-handed mace of some kind. Perhaps a magitek one?

    it could, i just chose shield for the glamour reason, it would work fine with both a mace, great sword, etc. Since the weapon is mostly cosmetic, its a stat stick. You would just rename the skill bash, for the amnity skill

    Why not just a paladin? Simply reason. Nothing says Deus Vult more then destroying your enemies with lightning while going full rampage with a sword. One does not go higher on the madness index then destroying enemies with pure lightning.

    It’s fun, it’s dashing, and it’s unique. I am not satisfied with black mage lightning, I want …..

    Because lightning goes brrr. It’s theme is lightning, and somehow this game DOES NOT have any proper lightning magic. Black mage gets this weak dot that -although ok- few BLM actually use cause it looks so BORING.

    I want a power trip. And black mage does not provide me enough. Lightning and swords, can’t get any better
