What I find funny is that people say that about healer changes, tank changes and everything else changes till everything is finalised and then there is no turning back. This is a forum for feedback. If some people say they don't like the concept then that's their right to say.

The thing is, even if the final, official look ends up being something completely different, it shows that they were considering (or are?) going for the "highlander Miqo'te" look, which is the root of the problem imo.

That's the issue (imo), though. The females should look just as bestial as the males (meaning their faces and fur-skin), as Hrothgar are the furry/beast race. If they have a mostly human face and no fur, then how can they even be Hrothgar? It'd be more jarring than Au Ra's sexual dimorphism.

Players already have multiple options for human women (with animal ears/tails and horns if they please), but there isn't a bestial/furry woman yet. This is why the artbook has me concerned; that SE is going to go the usual beauty (95% human) and the beast (Hrothgar males) route as most MMO's/games tend to do.

I would not complain if they look like the picture. I much rather they look as is I do not enjoy beastial races and I was looking forward to playing as one. Though if they looked like males I would be very disappointed cause to me they look ugly.

If Im getting you...you like Half Animal People? Remember we already have Miqote, Au-Ra and the Viera. See there are 3 options Right there that are Pretty Humans with some Animal Features. But we dont have a FullOn Beast Race. And the Point of their Creation was a New Diverse Option.
If they had Humanoid Faces, the Point would be gone.

If it goes to the Hrothgar, then we'd have to wait longer for a new race that would have been better suited. Such as Ivalician Moogles.

It is also possible that we may never get another small race, and small lion gals would be kinda cute, I think it would be an interesting take on a Hrothgar female.

Sure might be better options but no matter how unlikely a small female hrothgar (which is legit pretty much close to zero) the chances are still greater then the chance of them adding another race into the game.

So I will always advocate for a new smol race whenever I can even if I am more likely to win the lotto 46 times in a row while not even playing the lotto.

Would be the most jarring sexual dimorphism in the game (more so than Au Ra), especially if they decide to go the human face/body look for them (would they even be a Hrothgar at that point) ._.
