Best Place to Farm Elemental Crystals

Aetherial reduction still works and is somewhat decent especially if you're also gathering a useful aethersand, but hitting the sprites in Diadem is actually never the play since you could be using that augur charge to instead hit any other mob, appraise its drops for skybuilders' scrips, use those scrips to buy an item like a dye, sell that, and then use the gil to buy the crystals for cheap.

There's also some unlikely other sources worth investigating? Doing triple turn in leves for crystals works, and I've been outright capping on multiple types of crystals/clusters by soloing level 70 treasure maps as blue mage.

I definitely wouldn't rely on using The Giving Land to farm them outright unless you're farming 41-50 gathering nodes in ARR zones for the relevant achievements

The best place to get Wind Crystals is in Central Shroud. There's a group of trees right before the entrance to The Upper Paths that's close together and has a good chance of getting +yield bonuses.
