And to answer the thread's question with one that hasn't been mentioned. There were some children involved with the Little Ladies day quest a year or two ago, one of them being a lalafell who was below min-height, but otherwise wasn't too different from in-game models, IIRC.

There's also another one of said super-short lalafell on a random stairway in the gold saucer.


There's also those elezen in the brume having a snowball fight and interacting with you differently as the HW story progresses, and the ones in the, Firmament, right? New residential area? There's some having a mock swordfight.



As another note, the only races we've seen so far with unique child models are Hyur, Elezen, and Au'ra. We've never seen any Roe, Viera, or Hrothgar children, lalafell children are just super-small lalas, and Highlander children share models with midlander children.

The au ra who live in the sea bubble who's name I forgot have kids in it. Some with parents around.

There's a hyur boy with his mom and dad on limsa docks where you can go ocean fishing, but no flying allowed though.

If flying is a must... I think the best place is mor dhona. Hmm maybe can also try in the inn of amh araeng? Maybe kholusia has some too (the shacks near eulmore). Oh, I think I've also seen some kids at namai.

Also, just slightly northeast of them around a corner, there are some kids being consoled by adults. I think only one of the adults is an actual parent, as the other one appears to be in finer dress (a member of the church, I think). It's a pretty disturbing scene though. One kid is crying, one is either violently shivering or having some kind of emotional freak-out, while the calmest of them you can talk to and remarks at having lost all feeling in their body.
