Wait how did raiders ruin Astro? I dont use addons and I really love the class its my favorite healer job.

They may be talking about how complaints from raiders were the main reason that AST's cards got gutted so hard and the royal road system was removed. The addon in this case being ACT in general and how due to main metrics at the time being ADPS instead of RDPS, complaints were amplified and AST was pushed harder, I think?

I don't see why people are upset. It looks like a quick sketch of female Ronso. Pretty much exactly how they look in FFX. The difference is that the Queen has a rounder face and bigger booba which does not a beast race unmake.

I would withhold judgement until we actually see them in concept art that is supposed to highlight their features.

Hrothgar = The SEXIER Catgirl.

Honestly though its a concept art though, I wouldnt be suprised if SE were to create 2 face types which are varying from Softer Miq'ote types to Harder Bestial types to keep everyone happy.

There is no model yet. The art with the concept queen is apparently from the newest FFXIV artbook and is in the OP of this thread.

Lore book dropped. Concept art for Gunnhildr was included.

Like, they only recently comfirmed that Female Hrothgar were happening, why wouldnt they have shown us this image or some other concept art back then?

I think they mean this is supposed to be Misija/Gunnhildr, which then kinda de-confirms that this is how female Hrothgar will look, as SE decided to make them Roegadyn (thinking about it, one could argue that the art is actually still of a Roegadyn and those cat ears are a part of the crown).

We don't really have any proof one way or another that this is going to be what they go with, as this could have been drawn before they settled if they could add the missing genders and just be a concept "What If?" piece.

In that same vein we got several concept pieces of male viera back in the 1st HW art book, loooooooooong before they finalized which aesthetic they would eventually implement into the game.
