Had no issues till today , bombarded with 90006 and sometimes 2002

It happened today I got kicked a few times while I was fishing , thought maybe AFK thing kicked me out or something , I never got any disconnects from FFXIV then it became more and more frequent and now it's unplayable. I tried everything to fix it , from flushing DNS to router changes etc.
I recently returned to FFXIV (haven't been on FFXIV for a year and a half or more) never had this issue before until today , got disconnected almost 10 times and I'm throwing in the towel now.

It's sad to hear this but understandable and it maybe what it takes for SE to stop putting the blame on us and fixing their servers. Whether it is too much traffic following to the server or is it just a piece of shit. It's not on us, packets are getting loss at your data center. We have done all your solutions, we showed you evidence. Just apologize and fix it.

Primal (Hyperion) but also tried on Aether (Coeurl) and keep getting 90002 repeatedly, and it's getting worse/faster that I disconnect after logging in.
I'm 98% sure this is a Comcast issue, because my wifi has been trash all day as well (kept dropping during Pokemon Unite matches earlier in the day).
I'm in North NJ, in a town that got hit pretty bad from Ida flooding, but from what I see it's a wide-spread issue in my area.
Playing on a wired connection directly plugged into my cable modem. I've had issues with other online games on my PC today as well.
Not sure if this helps anyone. :/

ok, at least i'm not the only one -.-

It started for me a few days ago after a server maintenance where they supposedly changed some equipment in the Lich Server.
Rubberbanding all over the place, it's no fun to play right now -.-
Opened a ticket but no response yet and from what i've read, I doubt there will be one that can help me.

Gotdamnit, I just started a few weeks ago and really like the game so far, this is absolutely frustrating -.-

I'm on Excalibur (Primal) and have been having 90002 & 2002 errors all day (it started today). I've muddled around with the IE settings posted around, turned router & computer off/reset repeatedly, switched between wired connection and wireless, tried our weird 5G second internet thing, connected through a VPN, flushed DNS, did the Google DNS thing, disabled firewalls/antivirus, and run the launcher as administrator. Most of the time I 2002 before connecting, but when I can connect and make it past the queue, I can only play for 2-3 minutes before I disconnect and get the 90002 error. I feel like I've done everything I can on my end.

I'm a new player, just made a new character to be my main after messing about. It's... a touch disheartening and I hope this gets resolved soon. I want to play this game, it's good fun.

Have had no issues after weeks of playing, and suddenly today in the middle of a dungeon it started. I've checked "everything" at my end, no improvement. Will give it a couple hours I guess.

Went to work last night no problems. since being home i cannot stay connected longer than 15 seconds. sending but not receiving any packets. opened up a chat ticket and as other are stating he basically responded with "lol its on your end" I am a new player that just finished up shadowbringers and have been enjoying me time. but this is a SECOND time ive had a very very poor interaction with the customer service team here. I do not know if fixed or not i even want to continue playing.

I joined the forums just to reply to this, I can't do anything without disconnecting - as soon as I move, or try to attack something, or go to craft, I disconnect. I'm getting incredibly frustrated - it's only started happening over the last couple of days. Dungeons/Raids are impossible, I can't do the fates I need to do, or level my crafters, can't gather in Diadem - nothing. As soon as I try to do anything, disconnection. This needs resolving - people pay good money to play and they're unable to because of Square's server issues.

I've changed my settings to all recommended, changed back, tried using my phone as a hotspot, rebooted my router, tested speeds, restarted my computer endless times. My other games work fine, no issues or lagging, but FFXIV? Issues galore. Fed up.

Update: It appears to have been an issue on my ISP's end. Despite having no noticeable problems connection wise with regards to anything other than FFXIV, I decided to give them a call just in case. While I was initially told there was no outage, after a second call I was informed there was one in my area. I don't appear to have any issues connecting now after the problem on their end was resolved.
