That's about where my head's at, as well. I don't recall the name. If he founded the Company of Heroes, though, it'd be weird to only say he "disappeared" after the Calamity with no mid-mention of the Company despite it being very active in the 1560s.. Though maybe he was an unseen commodore, lol. Wheiskaet was said to be a captain, not necessarily the captain.

I would like to remind Moose that there was indeed a leader above Wheiskaet in the Company of Heroes who mysteriously disappeared shortly before the Calamity. He is talked about in that one post-moogle quest featuring Landenel: "Better Left Unfound"
