Summoner - Rework - Everything is changing

A lot to digest here, more importantly all of it seems too vague to take seriously, but firstly

Selecting a JOB that requires a job stone would never happen at the beginning Arcanist is a class that evolves into either SMN or SCH. No jobs exist that are level 1 (as much as I’d love for them to try to give new players a chance to level new jobs) or at the very least have SCH sever its tie from via SMN leveling.

Pet AI can’t be fixed because Egi’s are gone, and once again Egi are so closely tied to the lore and progression kit they’d have to rewrite the jobs lore and quests to make it make sense for the context of the kit

Pets automatically doing their rotation seems pointless, and as engaging as placing Bio on your enemies. As “flashy and cool” as they can be it’ll be as fun realistically as Queen is for MCH or Living shadow for DRK. Toothless and loose and a downgrade

“They do more damage with less effort?” “100 button rotation?” Im starting to think you never leveled either job or mastered them because these are more or less exaggerations not issues.

You understand one issue with Pet Ai but I don’t think you understand what makes jobs good, the line between poor design and engagement. If you did you’d be more specific instead of list a fever dream of all the dated non-SMN mains issues which boil down to “make them cool looking” which time and time again doesn’t fix jack Schit

i know few ppl like serious lots of them wont touch summoner simply pets look like floating pile poop yes its classic meme but still goes onto this very day. in fact here lore crap be brought up a lot. hey and mech queen is awesome. ok no i play summoner enough to know you got rotation cant sit there say you don't is it hard rotation no but does summoners hate being good at there job very much so. honest i dont give a shit how they fix pet ai they just do it

has nothing to do with having great wonderful pets walk around with you. perfrom actions like in ff7 remake. cause im sorry that summon system is so much better then 14 give up current system for that anyday having big beautiful sex summon melee attack and use rotation. until the meter runs out automatically enkindles and disappears. then summoner another

i want it to feel like a "Final fantasy summoner" without it breaking the game currently have bahamut atm he looks cool so cant say it cant be idea of fighting your pet make it submit to your will is cool thing for summoner. yes i feel alot things about summoner lore should be rewrited cause it holds the summoner back way too much. prevents them having anything actually remotely cool
