I think people are afraid of change. I see no issue with it being implemented and as long as there's a toggle 'on/off' option then everyone's happy.

As someone who RPs and hops around venues, chat bubbles can be pretty critical to keeping your conversations heard and not instantly flooded out. Think 30-40 people emoting and typing at once, and it's okay because the people you're trying to pay attention to advertise their little bubble directly over their head. Not like we have it at this moment where you make a post aaaaaaand it's gone.
