I would love this.
I would love this.
To be the best and beat the rest of the MMO's out there SE need 2.0 to be one of a kind, FF14 for all these platform PC,PS3,PSVITA,WiiU,360 or more.
but for that to happen SE need over 1mil subs in it 1st/2nd year to attrack other consoles to it, who would complain about $$$?
I know sound like a dream, but nothing is impossible. who would think ff14 will fail that hard?? and when 1st WoW come out, did anyone it'll reach around 10mils subs?
ok guys finger cross lets all hope ff14 sky is the limit.
Actually, from the reports i read so far, the developers seem to be praising how easy it is to program games for the Vita and to port older games to it. Yes, it is locked down pretty harshly, but as they say it... "it's a sony". I myself don't plan to get one exactly because of those reasons.
Just like they didn't use the PS2 as an excuse for FFXI issues and the PS3 as an excuse for PC issues?

I'm not sure how you would fit the UI on a 940x540 screen, typing in chat would be a pain.
I would rather see a mini app made for crafting and gathering.
I'd love to see it on PS Vita, with its specs i think it can manage to run FFXIV easily .
I think it's very hard to implement full FFXIV on PSVita.
My concern is storage of game data, and how to trim down the PC version module to fit in Vita's memory.
The remote playing (use Vita to control PS3 thru WiFi, which is a PS3 system feature) seems to be more feasible.

I hope the engine is faaar more optimized if they ever try this. Otherwise holding that Vita is going to be like holding a hot potato. I bet half of the reason why we didn't see a pre-2.0 FFXIV is because it would have set fire to some PS3s.
Yes, I am taking this entire thread as a joke. FFXIV on Vita? looooooooooooooooooool!
How much did you pay for that game dude?! Twenty bucks. How much did that memory card cost ya? One hundred.
