All Saints Wake: Unacceptable.

Last year we didn't even HAVE All Saint's Wake. This year it's scheduled for November 30th. That's a full month after Halloween for North America. There are all of these other events going on: So why is Halloween cancelled yet again? (Or in this case, GROSSLY late?)

Why can't we have All Saints Wake in October like it always is? You got rid of Halloween last year: If you have some other event taking place in October, you can scrap IT instead. Halloween is one of the most popular holidays in the U.S. and with the pandemic I for one was really, REALLY looking forward to an in game Halloween event since I can't even go out for Halloween (AGAIN.)

I don't want to be choosing between doing All Saints Wake or doing expansion content. PLEASE move All Saints Wake to October, like it SHOULD be.

They are working on the expansion, which, as you know, is about 4 months late.

Because Endwalker launches in the fall and the game staff will have enough on their plate already. The expansion launch is a wee bit more important to the game than a holiday event.

It'll be like 30 minutes of your play time at any point between 1 and 3 weeks after official launch (Since events tend to last a couple of weeks). I doubt that'll interfere with playing expansion stuff all that much so I'd hardly call it having to choose.

And as others have said their development schedule is pretty full so it was probably a choice between having it late or not at all. I'd say this is the better option.

It sucks that we can't such holidays normally right now but banking on an XIV holiday event to save this for you seems like the wrong tactic.

Get a few people on a voice call over Discord with everyone getting snacks and drinks and stick on the same cheesy horror films so you can laugh at them together or something else that suits you better if that's not for you, but maybe don't expect a game that's recovering from major delays already to provide a full Halloween experience for you. That just seems to be setting yourself up for disappointment.
