Given the circumstances I didn't find the login queue to be that big of an issue with SB. It was trying to click on the main quest givers to pickup quests that was the problem for me. That was definitely a time I wished I was on a JP server after seeing how they would form a queue.

We did queues back for ARR's release when we had similar issues. I didn't try to MSQ early for SB to run into the issues for...Reasons, so I'm not sure why it apparently didn't happen this time.

Not that I think you genuinely have plans to leave Crystal. You've been saying the same thing for months.

Been waiting for interest to inevitably die down so i can find a quieter server on a datacenter that's not been designated for RP by the community. Those are in short supply these days. Had i left earlier i'd just be stuck with ridiculously long queue times on an Aether datacenter. I would like to go back to Aether some day, because that's the datacenter i picked when i started before i got pruned off to make crystal.

Regardless of my current opinion of Coeurl right now, the queue times are at least manageable.

Time to hold the community reps hostage since the next Duty Commenced is on Aether. I'm kidding. On the other hand we should just go have a huge party on Gilgamesh. This is a bit surprising as I would have expected something like Blamung being locked down again before an entire Data Center would. I can't believe part of me misses the days my server spent more time on the preferred server list than off it. Not that the under 100 que is bothersome since the only time it gets that high or over it is when the server crashes.

It got pretty bad during early access. The crashing was the worst part, though, nevermind actually getting into a queue, haha. Then the instance server was overloaded so were all stuck in the first zone unless we were lucky enough to get through.

I figure if we can survive that and keep playing, we can survive this.

And we did queues on Jenova. I've got some screenshots from how massive they got. I got my gatherers to 65 instead and waited for SE to fix things.

Welp, I made a Zalera character a couple days ago to play with friends, bought the story skip and a paladin boost so I could get the armoury bonus for my arcanist job. Then today Crystal servers become preferred so I just barely missed out on the Road to 70 buff. If I make a new character I won't have the story skip or boost. Getting serious FOMO here lol.
