It's truly amazing that you think speech outside hate speech should be illegal.

That right there is why there is why America will always be the "best" country in the world It's the only place in the entire world with The First Amendment.
It creates a qualitative change so large that even if a country is better than America in certain aspects they will never be on the same level.

The real question is why every country outside of America doesn't want their people to have voices. The government is constantly trying to get rid of or encroach on The First Amendment because it gives the people power.

It's also funny you think NA has the worst prisons when in other countries people will just straight up starve to death in prison.

It's amazing how you think many other countries and especially the country where the company, which game you play, sits are indeed thinking the same and do punish people throwing insults around with at least a fine, are all wrong. Weird. But yeah everything else all these other countries must be wrong. NA is the best! Right? Right?!

Also not the worst prisons, never said "the worst". But clearly not with the focus on rehabilitation but instead punishment. Which leads to criminals doing even more crime. Which leads to US prisons having internal violence and prisoners and wardens being in a constant war. If you think such a system of violence and despair is great then i can't help you anymore, sorry. I am glad i can sit over here where we actually care about each other.

First, North America includes more than just the United States of America (such as Canada, which also does not follow Civil Law, but I digress). There are places in North America which do also prosecute for legal insults because they also follow Civil Law or they integrate a mix of Civil Law into their judicial system.

Second, just because various countries follow Civil Law doesn't mean people enjoy them, that they're fair, or that they're right. Oppressive laws and governments are some reasons why people immigrate (or, as it sometimes ends up, escape/run away). This includes immigrating(or escaping) to the United States.

Third, your post just made me love and appreciate the United States a bit more. Personally, I'm quite fond of our freedoms. It's not a perfect country, but neither are any of others out there.

Lastly, pat yourself on the back, because your inability to move beyond generalizations of an entire continent and stereotypes makes me feel pity for both you and whatever society you're inadvertently representing, because you make it sound either incredibly jealous or just generally mis-/un-informed (intentionally or otherwise).
Edit: unless I'm misinterpreting, it turns out that place is Germany. Thank you for giving Frau Goode (probably not the one you're thinking of) reasons to move to the US, because she provided me an incredible education and is an incredibly wonderful woman who deserves the best of whatever she wants in life.

Do you not see how absurd it is that you have to jump to third world countries to defend the prison system in NA tho?
Which I am assuming that you're doing because no one is starving to death in any EU prison and I don't think that's true in any developed nation.

We have free speech too there are just more limitations on it mostly revolving hate speech.
And as you said yourself your own government wants to limit it too and there are A LOT of people in NA who do want to limit speech they don't like.
There's people who literally want to throw people in jail for burning flags or saying bad things about the US...
And swearing is still a controversial thing in NA to the point that movies have swear words quotas, they actually count how many swear words are allowed before the rating is increased which guess what leads to censorship of speech in media.

If you think that people being allowed to call people the N-word or something makes the US the greatest country then I dunno that's your opinion I guess.
If you actually start looking through stats on anything that doesn't have to do with the military I think you'd have a really hard time arguing in favor of your position there because it's just objectively not true.

The US having the position it does today has a lot to do with other factors, for one it was pretty much untouched from two world wars except for Pearl Harbor that devastated the developed world and a very large portion of which populations then moved to the US.
Which is because America is separated from the rest of the world by an ocean.

Well, i know that many people aren't alright with all the stuff that is going on over there. And migrating over to the EU for these reasons. Maybe you try that too, come over for a vacation and look how peaceful and nice a country can be without throwing their citizens into the oblivion for profit.
