I just made it to 80 on my first class, I came here at the beginning of July and today I will hopefully complete The last MSQ trust. I have so much to experience.

Enjoy Life you only get one.

Because for those ex-WoW people there is ARR, Heavensward, SB and ShB content they never cleared before. This is a time frame of a normal patch so will there be a patch amount of content? If not what people think of this. I got raids and so grind to do ,so I can't complain to much.
One more thing I want to see is why people jump from a "dead" period in wow to ff14 in its longest "dead" period.
Don't star hate wars and any of this things.

It would be nice if those 3 months could be spent unsubbed but alas I have a house to keep up.
There's one thing that is coming and that's the moogle treasure trove, which is doing old content for rewards that are frustrating and/or impossible to get anymore due to lack of participation eg certain orchestrion rolls in the aquapolis, mounts from exs, fate earrings etc
I reckon a lot of the silent members of the forum would agree with you though given the dearth of combat content in shb. I wouldn't be surprised if endwalker being 1.3x as long as a regular expansion (or something like that according to an interview) meant that a lot of shb content got cut for it OR shb was underdone anyway to make EW hype bigger.

Incorrect. "Dead" implies a lack of activity, both in terms of content and overall players in the game. We are in a content lull, but the game is not dead by any means. I have never seen so much activity going on before at the tail end of an expansion. Regardless, I've accomplished just about everything I had planned to (along with some nice surprises) for now so I'm not playing quite as much. Currently, my main focus is Warframe. But I'm still logging in every couple of days and I am always met with a server queue and full cities no matter what time of day it is.

A house that you maintain by stepping into it once every 45 days.
That's one month of subscription needed in a three-month period.
Also we have the FFXV event coming back, not just the moogle tomes.

Endwalker could release in 2022 and I'd still have too much to do. Making gil, mount farming, solo achievements, etc.

Also a time like this is a good chance to catch up on other games. I stay subbed and play still but I usually do weeklies only/hang with friends then I try to do other stuff before Endwalker takes over my time in November. There's going to be a lot of people doing stuff when the mog tomes come around and when the XV event comes back.

Patch 4.55 launched in Feb 2019 with Shadowbringers launching in July 2019 so this is just a few weeks longer than the last time with 5.55 being in May and Endwalker launching in November.
Don’t worry about former WoW players, they got plenty to do. I finally managed to reach Ishgard a few days ago after playing for over two months (I blame crafting… man that is fun!). I feel like I barely scratched the surface of the game, it’s awesome![]()
I'd actually been somewhat away not being really active in game for about a year so I'm using it as a catchup period before Endwalker launches. Yay for distractions caused by other games and the annoyance of my preferred input device on my PC not working properly after it had a software update which is now fixed.
Currently finishing up getting all combat jobs to current lvl cap.
Making resistance weapons and finishing that story line
Clearing out trials I haven't gotten around doing yet
Finishing the Eden Raids story
Finishing the Yohra raid and story
Once that's done I'll look at going back for raid/trials mounts or maybe sit down and work on capping my DoH/DoL jobs
