She was annoying and showed very little of the important development she needed. It is a fault of Stormblood's awful pacing too that butchered her much needed character development, but Lyse is arguably a wasted character that had potential but they failed with executing it.
All of this is how i feel, but for Alisaie. I feel like she’s always having to be kept on a leash because she’s bound to do something idiotic that puts everyone’s lives in jeopardy, but then people write it off as it’s okay because “she’s such a fierce strong girl!” She’s had little to no development, with her only small piece of it being tied to an npc we knew for 5 minutes. It’s something she herself even comments on at the end of 5.3 which is kind of funny but also sad that the writers seem to acknowledge that. If she were an antagonist she would’ve been killed immediately as they clearly don’t know what to do with her but because she’s a scion she’s doomed to forever be here.

True. Tbh I didn't care much for Tesleen when she did show up in the story since I didn't get enough time to grow attached to the NPC. If Alisae and Tesleen had more time together and you could see their interactions with each other, then it would provide some sort of development for Alisae that she definitely needs. I don't mind her as much as Lyse though considering Alisae is supposed to be a teenager, so she doesn't have a complete grasp of her emotions while Lyse on the other hand is a full grown adult woman acting like she's in her early to mid teens which quite frankly irks me.

The only thing that doesn't make me outright hate Alisae was the post-story patches for Stormblood when the scions were dropping unconscious one by one. She had shown some vulnerability there, with her trying to rely on the WoL for comfort which admittedly made me pity her for awhile and made her slightly endearing to me in my opinion. She was acting how a teenager most likely her age would act and that gave me time to grow an attachment to her. Lyse during Stormblood was hindered by the awful pacing, while Alisae had the post Stormblood patches to shine when Lyse wasn't around most of the time. But, the writers did drop the ball with Alisae during Shadowbringers which made me slightly annoyed with her character as they just pushed her to the side and repeated the same writing mistakes they did with Lyse and wasted some potential with Alisae growing as a character.

Her interactions with Alphinaud did make me laugh a few times though during the cutscenes, which doesn't make her outright horrible since she has a supporting character in her twin; like how Lyse at one point had Papalymo. Characters who are aggressive and headstrong like that need another character to balance them out and be their voice of reason, or else they just end up like Lyse is at the moment.
