Fisher Job and Inventory

I'm new to the Fisher Job and i've been liking it a lot but the only problem i have with it is the HUGE disadvantage compare to the other gathering clases in terms of inventory space, i'm going around with 15+ different bait's and yeah we have the chocobo saddle bag but in terms of balance on inventory space is kind on the losing end, i wanted to leave a feedback and a suggestion since the Fisher job has no side arm how about creating a bait basket and make it that you can put all the bait inside that basket the higher the item level the more bait space it has or something.

Yoshi P has repeatedly said they'll never add inventory slots that are only used for one thing, like a "tackle box," or a "crafters backpack."
Instead, if they add more room, they've said they will do so like the saddlebag: more room anyone can use for anything. Not just space with a dedicated function.

In light of this, we should probably pester them for more general inventory, or for an overhaul of the bait system.

they did overhaul the bait system. they put the boilies into the game. you also should only be carrying around bait for a relevant fishing hole or two. not for everything.

Pick a few fish, keep only the bait of those fish, when you've completed the fish on that bait, pick a few more.

I know it's hard to not collect everything, this game though teaches you not to, or you suffer every second of every day of play.

I mean, I see what you're saying in terms of only carrying a little bait for relevant fishing holes. The problem is, I like to be able to randomly fish wherever I might find myself. So I carry a LOT of bait. I understand they'll never really make a tacklebox, but it is nice to imagine one as something similar to the way the Special Items and Crystals tabs of inventory work.

Still, I would also settle for just more inventory room period. But - I'm a packrat, so I'll always want more storage space.

Gods yes, the one spearfishing gig is rather tragic. I never experienced 1.0, but I dream of something better than the LOW level gig we're stuck with.

I think I'm going to start asking in live letters, "What would it take to have multiple offhands for the fisher, so that the gig is comparable to a sledgehammer or scythe?"
