Does every job need its own glamour plate?

my feeling is it must be a legitimate issue or they would just give everyone 50 glamour slots or so, they have absolutely no other reason to hold back
Apparently inventory is so messed up in this game they had to kill belts to increase the other tabs in the armoury chest

That being said my workaround is usually just not fretting over jobs I rarely play and weapons get updates so infrequently just manually glamoring is not a big deal. A single stack of 999 prisms is lasting me to the point is may as well have been infinity

Not really caring at all while leveling helps too, character should look a little ragged and weird while training imo

It's a database bloat issue. When you add 1 plate slot, you're not adding 1 entry into the database. You're adding millions per gear slot, so tens of millions.

I would like for every job to have it's own glamour plate. IIRC they are held client side, so server limitations shouldn't really be a thing holding it up.

Also for the way you are wanting to do things, OP I'd suggest using only one plate, and not having a weapon glam set on it. From there you can use a prism to glam your weapon. It will stick to the weapon so you'll only have to reglam when you upgrade your weapon. Hope this helps.

yes we need more plates and more slots in the dresser, i don't care about limitations, older games with less money manage just fine. in game appearance is a staple to most players, whats the point of being able to be every job if you cant even dress them, the armory chest limitations are terrible as well, god forbid i have more than one crafting/gathering set of gear, good luck fitting all your rings.

the basic systems of this game need significant QoL improvement.
