It's not as simple as that poll makes it for me. I think partying is too fast and I think soloing is too slow (although I think next patch the solo situation should be a lot better).

Shouldn't the rewards for besting something with less people be considered reason to make the rewards HIGHER?

I understand MMORPG = Group play, but this game was supposed to cater to all kinds of players, not discourage one or the other. At let's be honest. You can't possible compare the XP rate between solo play vs group play.

So...I guess the fact I never knew one received more exp. with more party members makes me a Grand Idiot. I've been playing solo...and soloed THM to 50, and thought the exp gain was just fine, in fact, perhaps gained a bit too quickly. But if Party exp is even better! We might as Well add an Abyssea area, so one can level all jobs to 50 in a single day.

The game does cater to all types. Ff is one of the only mmo left to encourage party play the way they do.

Just because its possible to solo level, doesn't make it effective. I enjoy group play, its why i only play online games now.

But compare how long it takes to go from 45-50 in a natalan 8/8 party, compared to leveling solo.

you could compare going from 40-50 as a group and compare it to 40-41 solo and i'd be almost certain the group would get those 10 levels before the solo got the 1.
