Petition to balance housing system and against black market

Anyone who buys a house off the “black market,” as you are calling it, must have already owned a house to begin with in order to relocate and skip the placard wait time. So when this happens a house opens up either way (the one being relocated from) and anyone has a chance to get it.

This is not always true. You can purchase a FC that owns a house. They then relinquish that FC to you and voila - you now have an FC with a house. This is how some people have almost an entire ward of houses that are FCs. There is a player that is notorious for doing this with alts (I can't for the life of me remember what server they play on, but I know it's on one of the NA data centers.)

Yes it's in place in case an FC leader quits the game, the house won't be lost and the next person in line inherits the FC & the house. It just gets misused as people are wont to do things like that unfortunately.

This has been displayed many times before as "proof" it's okay to own multiple FC houses when the GM states nothing of the sort. The GM refers the player to the Lodestone Housing Guide then states they cannot comment further as it is not within their authority to do so.

The supervisor comment that "if the game lets you do it, then it's okay to do it" is false because we know that isn't the case via situations like Ungarmax. Players were "allowed" to use Ungarmax outside of squadron dungeons for close to a year before SE turned around and said "no, that's an exploit, here's your ban for abusing it".

All the GMs know is they don't have the authority to comment on or take action on housing ownership issues. There's a big void in communication between the development team (which the GMs are not a part of) and the player base on who the players need to talk to for such situations.

Not gonna repeat the same old tired arguments we have over at the housing forums. Players have been able to own 8 FC houses on the same account on a server for years now.

If this was indeed an exploit, you'd think SE would have taken action by now. Considering the number of people reporting multi FC house owners and the owners reporting themselves.
