I think what these forums really need is a better moderation. The XIV forums are basically the wild west and neglected beyond repair. Guess understaffed too.
I'm sure that the player to moderator ratio is not favorable for the moderators. Even with technology to help, I'm sure there is only so much that they can do.
Alisae after Alphinaud's comment in Il Mheg
his dawning realization that sometimes, he should just shut up
Never gonna happen. SE abandoned these forums long ago in favor of the jp forums as well as twitter and reddit lmao.
Depends I suspect. On European servers I remember seeing quite disturbing and very homophobic discussions in Limsa shout chat (of course it would be Limsa) far prior to even 4.0 release, when there was barely any surge of other MMO players yet. On EU it may be partially because Europe is far more diverse culture background wise, which affects prejudices to an extend.
As for the favorite moment..... there are too many to choose from, but from the most recent ones it's definetely Aymeric&Nanamo O_O moment and Estinien mistaking Alisae for Alphinaud.
Okay, but this is still a thread about being positive (definitely to counter that one extremely toxic/bigoted troll thread) and people of the LGBT community sharing moments they loved/enjoyed in the game. I don't get why you feel the need to be negative when you could have just ignored the thread entirely.I do just that by staying away from a guild with their name as (letters), but your kind keeps trying to shift stuff into giving them praise 24/7 with terrible suggestions and making everything with even a smidgeon of brotherly/sisterly love into their group and its gross when you're invested in the story. And based on these times I would be upset if they added in something of that nature out of no where when nothing called for it at all, even if it is a fantasy.
Like what even is the point of your last sentence in this thread in particular?
For me will always be that 'Little sun' moment, I found a new love for Y'stola after that.

I mean, I usually judge people by who they are as a person and not what their preferred genitals are. I dunno. We're all the same after all. /shrug
