Hi Zumi. There's a couple of things you can do at 50. Get your NM achievements, beat both the Ifrit and Moogle Primal fights, beat Dzemael Darkhold, and other things. Since we got this update, the relevance of that older content is going to go back up. As others mentioned, you can level up other classes (including DoH and DoL) and stock up on useful abilities.

I, myself, have made it a point to not level up all the DoM and DoW classes while waiting for 2.0. But this is a choice that is left to the individual player.

So please don't give in to the turdy trolling of some folks here. Have fun and stuff!

Lots of good suggestions here. I think the key thing to remember is that there is more to do here than get one (or a few) jobs up to level 50. In many ways, that is actually the 'first step' of what an Adventurer does in this world. The next is to use their skill and go out into the world and Adventure!

Some important things for an adventurer to do that I have not seen mentioned include:
-- Explore! One of the beautiful things about Eorzea is the ability to explore wonderful new places. See all the pretty crystals and attune to them so you can go back and visit again!

-- Mastery! Become the best you can be in your specifalized job/class. Perfect your equipment, your weapons, your strategy, your skills. See if you can fight tough enemies by yourself that others would run away from!

-- Special Missions! Engage in special missions for the various factions! Help them stop the menaces in our land! And get rewarded with pretty rune stones that turn into pretty equipment!!

-- Strategize! Find out how you can defeat Iffy and Moogy with new and different strategies! Can iffy be beaten with 7 instead of 8 (yes). How about 6? or 5? How about different job combinations? Lead and discover new ways to win battles rather than rely on others to discover them, and hope their way was the best way!

-- Socialize! Talk to friends, help people, train people. Already a master at Iffrit runs? Take a group of new young adventurers and show them how its done! Wandering through the land and seeing some young adventurers tacking on a Dodo twice his size O.o! Lend a helping hand, save him, and then be on your way.

Live the world of Eorzea, for it is oh so much more than reaching Level 50.

Wow, no one here is going to recommend blowing things up?

It would require having a crafting class or good buddy, but thats mostly all i do is farm, spiritbond, craft & blow things up (over & over...). Usually take a few breaks inbetween, but's that's about all i log in to do (besides LS events).

Its fun watching the horrid success rates blow up or succeed.
(50% serious, 50% sarcasm).


Stats don't really matter a whole lot but i like trying to improve my gear (this is the true endgame content atm)
2 melds are yesterday & almost expected by now. It's all about 3+ melds(now if only i could get there, lol).


If you don't have the patience to do this, it's best to wait for battle content.

As a Gladiator 50 you are going to want to have your Supporting classes levelled up,
Keen Flurry, Raise, Cure, Sacred Prism, Stoneskin, Featherfoot, Second Wind, Provoke, Decoy, Invigorate

I highly recommend giving all the disciplines a try, and work on your achievements while you're at it. Who knows, you might find some other discipline you like, and having multiple disciplines leveled can be useful. Another thing to do is stay on top of the 7th umbral era content (Every patch or so they have new unannounced events that randomly occur involving the coming era), and maybe go do the rest of the quests available while you're at it.

1. Get all your other battle classes to 50, you really need those skills from the other classes if you want to be at your best.

2. Kill Ifrit to at least get Ifrit's Bow

3. Camp stronghold coffers for Sentinel's gear

4. Kill Moogles for fun

5. Duneon runs

6. Kill free roaming NMs
