I see my throwaway comment in the thread of pointing out that Haurchefant doesn't much give a crap about gender got under the troll's skin. Good, if you're gonna be a hater to a community who already gets enough crap in the real world, you deserve to have your feathers ruffled.

Edit to add: as an aside. You know what the difference between being LGBT and a pedophile is? And it is a big one. Consent. An adult man or woman can consent, a child cannot. Consent is what makes a sexual action moral, or not.

Yes, really.

1/3 of the globe wanting this community to be tortured or dead, and in countries where it's "accepted", harrasment and others criminal act are commited toward them every single day.

It's not a victim card. Educate yourself.

Transpeople are still murdered at shocking rates. The likelihood of being assualted or murdered as a transperson- especially a black or Latine trans women is rather high. https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...er-deaths-2021 This year alone is looking very deadly for Transwomen.

And in parts of the world, gay people are still being executed. In May, a young man was beheaded by his own family in an "honor" killing, just before he was able to leave Iran and seek safety. He was murdered for being gay. https://abcnews.go.com/International...ry?id=77690474

The only people playing the victim are the ones complaining about the existence of LGBTQ people who have existed forever. Far longer than the religions that paint them as evil and use that to discriminate, harass, and even kill them.
