Can someone explain me why is FFXIV getting DDOS attacks?

Because it's the popular game right now and, I don't know this for certain, but it's possible that there was some sort of event planned to be happening on the EU data centres that may have caused a targetted attack.

Basically, because people suck and they think this is funny or will somehow get their message across.

EU servers are getting DDoSed. It's gonna be unstable and sucky with long queues for a while until the identify and block the source.

Was in Castrum in bozjan southern front, On the last boss, entire group was alive.

You're most likely to be kicked off the Q due to an error anyways. You're just wasting time, play something else until it's sorted.
