Fem Aura are 0/10 to me, I don't hate them but they look so weird to be honest, and the community still calls them Lizards ,dragons ,crocodiles, succubus's , demons etc. People don't even know what they are.

For how unhappy I am with their design, I think I would like Au Ra way less if they actually were lizardfolk, I much prefer their current, (supposedly) demonic look. Not that SE would ever be able to figure out to make a lizardgirl sexy, that's probably what led to them changing what they were going for lmao

They really dropped the ball on Au Ra by not using the original concept design. If they looked like demonic powerful Voidsent they would have been a popular race for edgelords such as myself.

The female was supposed to be large and imposing with a slender large frame and a meaty ass tail reminiscent of Xenomorphs from Alien franchise.

Instead we got bishounen men and petite kawaii lizard girls.

I really enjoyed these concept too...the male is awesome! for some reason, i think the emotes from Au'ra have more details than any other race. This is why i changed from elezen to lizard dragon boi

What’s weird is that they didn’t give the different clans different emotes. I don’t mind as much the stature or appearance of au ra girls but they gave them super cutesy emotes that go more with Raen sensibilities than Xaela. Xaela should have had their own more fierce or animated set of emotes, like midlander v highlander. Missed opportunity, imo.
