It would be nice, if you could have 1 alt slot for housing, so you can have your alt character use the house you bought on your account as well, of course has to be on the same server and all.

And also, so can not be used as a heavy mule option or whatever, restrict it, so it can only be done once per 2 months or something, if you by sudden want one of your other alts having the same options as your main character.

Over two years ago they said their plan was to let all characters on the same account and world be tenants of a house owned by one character on that world once they overcame certain unspecified technological hurdles.

We're still waiting. Nothing has been said since.

As for using alts as mules, that's something already done through FC chests. Shared housing won't make a difference.

do you have a source on where they said that, actually? im super curious to see that bit of information.

the issue with FC chests is that not everyone has alts in the same FC. some people have them locked to two different groups. some people have alts running fc-less. having a private estate be able to be accessed by alts would help this (that or just letting us mail stuff to alts. lol.)

id be for this idea, i just doubt they'd be able to go through it due to the technicality with grandfathered personals.

I'm still hoping for something like that, but not just one alt. All alts on my account on that server should automatically get access to my house.
And let me befriend my own alts so I can send items and gil. It's so disappointing they removed that feature years ago.

The FC chest works per character... so if your alts is in 5 different FC's... then if you got an FC chest in your house they will be able to see their own FC chests, if they are having all the same personal house to live in.

You ca on all your characters access the FC chests in all the big cities with no problem.
