They always make the previous year's available for purchase on the FF XIV Online Store. And the ones from every years are also available and will remain so as far as we are aware. Sadly they don't make these available again in game for free.

I really hate how they've organised the new store with the "costume set" and "armour" (ie. single costume pieces) in different sections – they used to be all in the one list. Organising by event would make far more sense.

All the events regularly alternate between giving a mount, a minion or a glamour as the prize. This year the prize is a mount. It is not a special circumstance they need to compensate us for.

And, as much as I'd like it, old event prizes never become available in the game again.

Just a heads up for how FFXIV works-

Event rewards are almost always one and done. Once they become available on the MogStation, they will no longer be in events. There are exceptions, but this is the norm for all the events.

Also types of rewards vary from year to year. Sometimes it's one glamour set, sometimes it's like 5 bikinis at once. Sometimes its just like.. a poster for your wall.
