    Yes I am aware of the various ways of increasing storage, I was concerned about "immediate" storage. Over "there" one can craft items no matter where the mats were stored, here they have to be in you immediate inventory. Yes I know what Key items are, the point was that there are a very, very limited number of such (at least that I have)... so why waste so many bag slots?

    Seems a design flaw to me, I was just trying to see if there was any "excuse" for it or why it can't be changed.

    You can carry as many key items as you ever will need, and they don't take up any bag slots. It looks like they do, but that is mostly just an artifact of how they designed the UI.
    If the devs really wanted to they could probably cut away the whole second page of key item slots from the UI, and this would .... change nothing at all except how it looks on the screen. It would certainly not free up places that could be used for your normal inventory.
