You know how GMs went after brothel ads and removed them from the PF? Well why don't they just make it against the rules to post PF entries with descriptions that don't match the content? IF you're crafting, selling or roleplaying, it should go in the Other section by selecting Duty - None. If you're doing a roulette, your description must describe the roulette and not garbage like "{{SELLING}} ULTIMATE ** SAVAGE ** MOUNTS ** Discord: spam#1234".

Their stance has always been in support of carries. And to presume innocence unless proven guilty.

But they aren't in support of them at all. The current system is fully open to scams, the GM's obviously can't do anything if you show them a discord screenshot of someone promising a carry if you handed over gil and I have doubts if they'd step in even if it was in game.

If they supported carries, they'd implement a system that facilitates them. Something like a suspended gil trade at the start of the run that only completes when the duty is cleared. Along with a separate section in PF. Quite simple really. However they've completely ignored it and let breaches of ToS go rampant instead while the wrong sections of PF are flooded with spam.

I'm not in favor of carries at all personally, but I'm just saying if Enix really wanted to allow them, they're going about it a terrible way. It would need rules and moderation.

They are not in support of RMT or account sharing. This and just selling runs are two very different things.

Didn't people force the RPers out of advertising on PF?

Also @Reinha: the fact that they went after eRP venues and not the run sellers should tell you all you need to know on their policy.

While they don’t really like people clearing without any effort (carries), they don’t care if it is done via in game currency. This has been a post topic since 2.0 and SE has always maintained that as long as it involves in game currency, it’s fine.

I’ve said the same thing like 5 times in this thread. The ToS, the Devs, those who have any actual say do not care about selling runs in any official capacity beyond “we would prefer people clear stuff through their own efforts”. It is, again, the very hard to detect account sharing and RMT that is the problem and incredibly difficult to detect without investing resources.
