It definitely would've been nice if they'd at least showed some concept art (assuming there's any) of female Hrothgar... but after 6 years of people clamoring for the OG Au Ra designs (can you blame them..), and most recently people disappointed that male Viera don't look like (some of) their HW concept art, I suspect they'd rather not gamble with expectations like that again

But they look just like the concept art.
I think people have gotten to used to some of the Fanart that painted this perfect picture of how they wanted Male Viera to look, and forgot the original concept art they were looking at.

I assume they mean this concept art, specifically. They look taller, more conventionally "manly", broader shoulders and etc. in comparison to the ones we're getting

Yeah we only got to see the one example, I'd also love to see what else we can expect.

As well as what's in store for Hrothgar now they're 'changing the specifications'.

Honestly...they look about the same of what we got. Cant say they look any taller, that design in game could still translate to the exact height they are now. They still have soft youthful faces just like what we are getting...yeah no, I think they look exactly as intended/drafted YEARS ago. So I remain convinced honestly, that people just kinda imagined something that wasn't there, and just had their own ideas. I fall into that later part cause...even though I wasn't really Team Male Viera, even I had my own idea of how they should have looked, and now that the concept art is coming back up....yeah I can admit my imagination flew higher then the early drafted concept.

The bottom Left looks abit more feminine, but it might be the attire.
And Bottom right they were just obviously having fun, gotta do that once in a while when you are drafting designs, it could spark other ideas.

I wan to point out as well that there's nothing in that concept collage to show any sort of definite height. In fact, the bottom row kind of implies they were going to be slightly shorter all along.

Just glad m viera really did capture the old concept feel, unlike female au ra.


But en ee weigh, I just want to know how many hairstyles will be unlocked for viera in EW. We saw a female wearing the ponytails style in the AF armor display, so that one is up. Will male viera roll out with the same liberties? Is it only going to be select styles? Questions that haunt me in my bubble bath.
