With how SE has done things, this is going to be additive, and I would expect that you'll only be affected if you want to move.what will this mean for people who already own housing? do we keep our plots and then if they become available later on this will be implemented on them or are we gonna have to move too? might be a stupid question but im unsure and as per usual SE have only told us its being implemented and not full details
They don't have a habit of taking away things when they change the rules so I doubt current owners need to fear losing their house (other than through demolition as usual). Attempts to relocate would be affected by the new rules, though.what will this mean for people who already own housing? do we keep our plots and then if they become available later on this will be implemented on them or are we gonna have to move too? might be a stupid question but im unsure and as per usual SE have only told us its being implemented and not full details
Then again, we don't know anything for certain because they're only giving us vague information at this point. Maybe they'll decide they want to wipe all the wards clean to put every player on a level playing field when it comes to obtaining a house. No more multiple house grandfathering, etc.
If they were actually doing something that would improve the housing system to serve all players equally (ie guarantee that every player who wants a house can get one) instead of just the lucky ones who manage to get through the log in queues first, I could accept losing my house and starting over. But the indications are they aren't interested in fixing the housing system. They seem to be more interested in shuffling the problems around for the sake of looking like they're doing something.
SE does luv those bandaid fixes. The ones with the cute characters on them make a feeble attempt at distraction rather than putting the work where it needs to be, actually making housing better. They don't have a habit of taking away things when they change the rules so I doubt current owners need to fear losing their house (other than through demolition as usual). "Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
