Being dissapointed is normal but it's not even the place to talk about that, there's 2 threads for male viera.

Who said this concept art is of a teenager? They do have a youthful appearance since viera have long life spans, but they are adults.

It's funny, you didn't seem to have a problem with their appearance at all when the trailer came out and we got to see the face options and etc... But as soon as you found out they were 2 inches shorter, they are suddenly a disappointment to you?

1. If we judged them by the trailer you would've been the first one to say to wait for the benchmark to see if they have faces that actually look like men. A trailer is never enough to judge all the character creation options.
2. Trailer only shows them in starter race gear which can mask how bad their proportions actually are; they're very very skinny, skinnier than even male elezen, and male elezen is already a walking skeleton.
3. I listed all the factors that make male viera a disappointment which include them looking like underage children; this is the part you want to conveniently ignore but I will keep bringing it up.

You're free to be disappointed, but male viera are meant to be slim and generally pretty/elegant looking (like I said, bishounen). And no, they don't look underage. It's a shame they aren't to your liking, but that's just how it is. It seems like this race just isn't meant for you.

The reception has actually been pretty good from what I've seen! There's a select few people who are salty about it - they're usually whining about twitter and the darn "vocal minority", but I enjoy watching that quite a bit.

I don't know about that. The concept art of male viera I showed you just now seemed pretty faithful to the final product! Minus the tuft of fur on the chest (from the original concept).
In any case, concept art isn't necessarily indicative of what the final product will look like in all cases.

At this point I don't even understand if you're trolling or you really believe what you're saying tbh. M Viera are pretty much your typical handsome asian boy idol with rabbit ears. Weird fetishes? What the hell. If that's what it looks to you, it tells more about you than the race.

Back to the topic, I really, REALLY hope that F Hroth will finally be a viable choice for people looking for beastly strong looking female characters. That's a niche that's definitely not covered.

Yes, and I pray the extra 2 year wait (Unless some people who think they will come as a last minute surprise...) will be worth it. I hope they looks strong and badass, and not all cute and cuddly. The HrothMales are great, I want the HrothFems to be great to.
And with some hope, there will be a good variety of options, including some expansion and needed changes to the HrothMales that will also be on the HrothFems out the gate
