You conveniently ignore

-13 year old faces; which look just like they warned us about when Yoship spoke about not including teenagers in the game.
-Idle virgin hunch
-Extremely skinny when you try any glam that isn't the starter race gear
-Their faces barely look any different from the female's aside from the nose, in some cases they even look more like a woman than a man when compared to female viera
-They look nothing like the male viera art they showed in 2015

Many of us were basing our support for male viera on the male viera art of 2015, not the multigender/underage male we got.

Except that's the teenager they were talking about not wanting to add.
The concept art that had a finished, full body, and more complete representation of male viera was the one where they looked like men.

Who said this concept art is of a teenager? They do have a youthful appearance since viera have long life spans, but they are adults.

It's funny, you didn't seem to have a problem with their appearance at all when the trailer came out and we got to see the face options and etc... But as soon as you found out they were 2 inches shorter, they are suddenly a disappointment to you?

1. If we judged them by the trailer you would've been the first one to say to wait for the benchmark to see if they have faces that actually look like men. A trailer is never enough to judge all the character creation options.

The reception has actually been pretty good from what I've seen! There's a select few people who are salty about it - they're usually whining about twitter and the darn "vocal minority", but I enjoy watching that quite a bit.

I don't know about that. The concept art of male viera I showed you just now seemed pretty faithful to the final product! Minus the tuft of fur on the chest (from the original concept).
In any case, concept art isn't necessarily indicative of what the final product will look like in all cases.
