What things annoy you?

I'm frankly getting dead sick of the Lalafell hate I see here and on other social media platforms.

I more specifically hate when people saw that there are a few evil lalafells in the msq, so they hate all lalafells based on that. Like I seriously hope that's not how you judge people irl.

I wonder if the racism in NA and EU is as prevalent in other regions? Might be telling.

People being rude and trashing other peoples mogs because they don't suit their personal tastes.
I think this is especially common with people who want to act like they're special and like their character is '' not like other girls '' ( lets be real here it's basically always directed against female characters ).

Basically they act as if they're super unique because their character wears the DRK or PLD artifact armor and can't stop talking shit about people who don't mog their character as covered in bulky plate or because they wear more feminine clothes.
Often times they'll play Roe or Highlanders and give people who play any of the others shit.
It's not just people who play female characters tho I just kinda find it more irritating when people do it as a way of trying to brag about how unique they supposedly are.

Like people can dislike what they want, I just don't understand why people feel like it's necessary to drag others down in the process.
It's like how when people supposedly want to ask for other character design options and 99.9% of what they say is only about saying derogatory things and trashing what they don't like.
I just question the motives at that point and it's completely unnecessary.
Just play your character as you want and leave other people alone... And if you feel like you want more options then insulting others and things you don't like is not a good way to go about it.
And just because something doesn't suit your personal tastes doesn't make it wrong or bad, and I think some ppl get rly hung up on it and then they feel like it's way more common than it actually is.

Just tired of this in general tho even outside of FFXIV, but this definitely is a thing in FFXIV and they come out of the woodworks sometimes.

Edit: This goes for races ingame too, giving people shit for the race of their character.

You're not special, and people who don't play what you play are not playing the game wrong.
Just relax and let people have fun...

-No interactive emote to kick lalafels like a ball
-Beeing unable to 1v1 and perma steal items from lalafels in cities
-Clowns who wear something they deem "erotic attire", like 2b male or swimsuits on female while on battle content.
-SE, becouse they make this game look like clown fiesta with all the mishmash added.
-mounts that suits the setting, as good as strings suits an obese and hairy guy without pants in the middle of the town square, when its minus 15C.

I find the only thing that annoys me when playing the game is the map and navigation. If I am in a new district I can run around in circles trying to get to my destination. It's fine when I have become accustomed to the area but can be a struggle at first.

Fem highlander /furious works, iirc. It angrily kicks dirt. Just have your lala DRG curl up before you, knowing their place, and it looks decently interactive when paired with Elusive Jump.

Beyond that? I don't like how dead the world is now. Everybody levels via PotD or boosts. The 1-50 zones aren't quite a graveyard at midnight, but neither do they feel alive or vibrant like they used to. The unnecessary addition of flying was the nail in the coffin. Did we really need to hover 100 feet above these puny zones?

Lol like seriously, there are so many different color combinations and glam options that you can use but everyone just results to the same bulky black attire. Don't even get me started with how everyone defaults to either black hair, white hair (why) or (eek) a combination of both. Everyone wants to look like Max Shreck apparently. I'm not judging. Too much. (Off topic; didn't feel a thread warranted it)

The main thing that's been annoying me lately though are just boosters who don't know their job but want to play the latest and greatest instead of going through the leveling experience and really getting that muscle memory built in. Like I have nothing against boosting, but it really hinders the group when you don't know what you're doing and just try to wing it. The amount of BRD's I see who have worked peloton into their combat rotation and let DoTs fall, WHM's who cast Holy in a corner away from everything or WHM's that just let the tank die just to squeeze in that last Glare is just driving me nuts.

Another thing is people not asking for help. Like I get what it's like to be the new player but please, if you don't understand something PLEASE ask for help. We aren't going to bite your head off if you need clarification on things. Far too many people say they understand something only to find out that they don't actually understand something and that's when people start to get the whole passive aggressive train rolling on the tracks.
