Honest question because I've never tried: Can you give your whistles to the Shazenkai?to summarize for everyone else... yes there are mounts I have purchased because I wanted them. I am not saying I want NO mounts. I am saying I want to throw away mounts I don't want.
yes I want to be to be able to remove mount whistles, look at the video there is a very clear bug.
I said it would be unpopular. but one thing I am not is a liar. I've literally posted on here more times today than I have in 9 years. You think I like trolling this forum? lol I barely even VISIT this forum.

To be fair.. my posting doesn't really "hurt" the chances of this happening. Even though you do have a valid problem, I don't see them going back on their initial decision to make them impossible to destroy since I can readily see the reasons for doing so.
Yet further information that would probably have caused more sympathy and support than "I don't like collecting mounts". Again, why would you start with that?
Sounds frustrating. No I don't blame you for being mad and venting, I can definitely grant that as a reason for posting weirdly as well, but keep in mind as you haven't posted in 9 years.. that first post is all anyone who reads your request has to go on.So I randomly stumble onto the forum for the first time in like...9 years and say you know what? I am gonna vent. That is literally what happened. Being able to drop a mount whistle fixes my problem and any future problems....so yes I vented to the internet XD. Can you blame me?
If you'd like an apology for calling you a liar (or implying) I can definitely do that: I am sorry for accusing you of posting false information and I apologize for possibly making you MORE frustrated.
Can you grant that from an objective observation your initial post looks like a self generated and frivolous problem and your followup didn't really clarify a good reason to ask for it?
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

to be fair to both of us. it's late... and I am really tired so it is easy for me not use words correctly. XD I appreciate the apology... and agree I could have handled it better myself. I hope SE see's this and atleast removes the duplicate whistle. :/To be fair.. my posting doesn't really "hurt" the chances of this happening. Not an ideal situation, but you could pay the $2 or so for 1 month of an extra retainer, dump the mounts on that retainer, then don't renew it. Boom, you lose access to that retainers inventory, including all the mounts they will now ride into the sunset on.
Once you've accumulated another sizable amount of mount whistles, pay the $2 again and dump them again. Keep in mind, since having the whistle doesn't prevent you from obtaining another (which it totally should), you'll have to be careful to try and not accumulate more. Try leaving your friends' mount farm duties before them, make sure you have "skip previously viewed cutscenes" selected.
It's kind of a bandaid fix, but I think it's the best you could do with the current limitations of the game.

I mean, this just seems weird but on the chance it's not a strange troll attempt, I would suggest just using your mount favourites menu. Add the mounts you actually want to that menu/page and you'll pretty much never have to see the ones you collected accidentally.

You can discard mount whistles.
Right click on them.
In Eureka I rolled the (untraceable) T-Rex whistle about 6 times and I guarantee you the extras were tossed.

This is somewhat true and wrong, there multiple types of whistles.
Those which you can obtain once, such as achievement and quests and those of which you can get more.
The once which are obtainable once, are not removeable, because im sure that 99,9% of the players would want to use them, there is no harm in being the 0,01% who does not want them but the game will still say "just use it" and grey out the discard option.

The Eureka ones you can even sell but i stand with OP, free the mounts! No mount should live just to serve the WoL! Especially when the WoL forces them to fly which is in most cases against the nature of that mount!
I mean you ever saw that one turtle mount, i call that animal abuse. Stuffing a adamantoise full of firework just so it spins and can fly is cruel. Free the mounts! Burn the whistles!
