I want to be able to throw away mount whistles....

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion but... I want to be able to discard mount whistles. I don't like to collect mounts, and unfortunately I have accumulated some mount whistles through play with friends...so yeah... that's all I got. I want to be able to throw out mount whistles I don't want to use... or even release mounts would be great!

And adding them to your collection isn't an option because? You want to add the possibility of people destroying non-recoverable mounts through accidents and/or mistakes because you don't like that your mount list gets entries?

Apologies if you think I'm being mean or rude but this is one of those things that just sounds like someone making up problems to fix.

I get you don't LIKE it.. but there's easy enough solutions already in the game. When you get a whistle/key/whatever add it to your collection and then never ever ever open the mount log. Gone.

Bind the mount you want to use to a hotkey or make it the ONLY mount available on your favorites and now you'll never have to acknowledge the existence of the 2-7 other "required" mounts in the game.

Not to mention the idea that you could use a "release" or "Destroy" option to continually roll for unique mounts and constantly take up rolls for people who want them if you chose to grief (always a consideration when implementing features).

I just do not see a reason that this should be programmed into the game when it's such a niche case that has very little benefit.

As the OP has several mounts you specifically have to go get and one Mogstation mount, I'm going to say that was the idea.

This is absolutely a right of all players. What happens if your character's lore doesn't match up with the ability to summon certain mounts? I don't think that's fair to the players and how hard is it to add an extra menu that says "DELETE THIS MOUNT? ARE YOU SURE???"

When the whistle appears in the loot list, select pass. Whistle never enters your inventory, no need to destroy it. Problem already solved.
