All I will say is never never use the name of a sex offender,murder,terrorist,etc As a name for anything in a MMO. You basically asked the community to report you up the wazoo. Using that name now on a new account it goes without question that in the gm's eyes it looked you are/were trying to offend people.

From now on I will be googling every name I dream up for my characters. I don't keep records of all the worlds wrong doers in my head so some research will be needed. I wonder what someone would do if their birth name was actually that of which they gave their character and that name was the same as a mass murderer. Would they be at liberty to use it or would they need to hide their name for the rest of their life, or maybe use a alias?
