I get you are upset but they said general verbal abuse "can" land you in jail. By no means would a reasonable person take that as they knew what you did, they were just trying to offer an explanation with the context you provided in your OP.

They won't ever give you any specifics as they feel that most people are aware enough that if they are told what rule they broke, that they can figure out what not to do to avoid it in the future.

They don't want players who get put in gaol to go harass those that reported them.
