I feel you. RDMs are taken for granted. When you queue for E9 because memory farm and farming some gear as rdm, have people die repeatedly, then 14% both healers die yet again, have the party scream healer lb3 in chat while both healers are dead, dualcast raise to get at least one of them up, and then see the healers get showered with praise for the clutch lb.
And get no thanks for getting the healers up for the clutch win.

Caster/ ranged LB1 is so underused, I rarely see others use them even in a gigantic and perfectly stacked pull. Or worse, get grumpy when someone uses it to nuke a pull because it's really important to finish the last % of a boss with LB.Oh for sure! Exceptions always exist.
I do not expend them when I know I land into things like Anamnesis and Pag’lthan. Those last wall pull has to be one of the most satisfying AoE LB moments in dungeon contents. Sadly a good portion of randoms I’m paired with simply forgot LB gauge exist.
One day they will know how satisfying it is to almost one-shot a huge pull and they will never go back. One day.
I tend to use it a lot for big pulls (especially in the "sastasha jazz" dungeon with all the fish dudes before the boss) but I've had instances when I've popped it off and the melee starts complaining we don't have it for the boss. -.-Caster/ ranged LB1 is so underused, I rarely see others use them even in a gigantic and perfectly stacked pull. For that I have a text macro that explains how a AOE LB 1 on 3+ targets does more dmg then a melee LB 2 on a boss and that we wont even fill a lb 2 on a boss.
Did Trial Roulette earlier and landed in Zurvan with a PLD who decided they were going to spin everything like a beyblade.
Finally asked them to stop after adds were over - we literally had two positional-heavy melee in the group that they were actively screwing over. The convo went like this:
ME: hey man you gotta stop spinning stuff, we got melee in the group
PLD: meh. im not worried
ME: so you're okay screwing other players over, then? ok
PLD: i don't really care, i'm not worried
I proceed to provoke and keep the boss from spinning around, provoking back once they start trying to provoke it off me while on the opposite side of Zurvan. We end up wiping because someone didn't cover one of the element towers; I pull Zurvan this time and keep him steady the whole time, even with the PLD still trying to provoke. Unfortunately couldn't grab aggro fast enough on some of the adds, and - you guessed it! - they proceeded to spin them around yet again until stuff died.
Also got the DRG killed with their AoE during Soar. :|
If you're going to be a selfish prick who runs around constantly, at least play a ranged class that can't screw over other people. Christ.
You see a lot of spinning or even kiting tanks lately or dps that stand next to the tank in front of the boss.
So i wonder: is this something from WoW? No offense here.
Cause i never played that game. Im just curious.
In WoW, there are some bosses where you would need to kite them as they might say, drop bad aoes so you move them around to keep clear of them. Or moments where you might want to move a boss pointing a certain direction for a mechanic. (Though generally you'd ideally just have the boss already pointed in that direction anyway.)
But in WoW you really shouln't be randomly moving the boss or randomly spinning them either without a reason.
A lot of bosses in WoW have frontal cleaves as their basic auto-attack, and spinning them is a great way to kill everyone in melee range (and sometimes farther, for larger bosses. Dragons can sometimes cleave a good quarter of the room with their auto-attack). So no, it's not really a WoW thing, it's just a douchebag thing.
Sad thing is that most people don't notice the small things, they just notice the big explosive things.

I put a lot of effort into using my whole utility belt on whatever I play but rarely get acknowledged for it.
But I do look out for people doing it and give them commendations for it.
Had another PLD in Matoya’s Relict spamming clemency instead of letting excog pop. What’s with the diaper baby tanks? Should they even have MP to cast clemency this often if they’re doing a proper rotation?
