You can buy Aetheryte tickets using Allied Seals (ARR hunt and Blue Mage content currency) and Centurio Seals (HW/SB hunt content currency). Then you don't have to pay for your teleports at all (unless you choose to or run out of tickets).

Oh, awesome! I'll look into doing more of that content. Also found out yesterday that you can favor multiple locations - that eased the pain a bit too, haha.

My biggest annoyance with the game is two doors to click when entering the scions headquarters. Why not one? Are there two just to waste your time?

Just fight through ARR. It's largely crap (the very last few chapters are compelling, but that's it). Heavensward, however, is definitely worth the wait.
