It’s just a tiny misconception like that has the ability to spiral - I’ve seen calls for people to be banned because they’re preventing people from logging in by staying logged in themselves (which isn’t the case at all! They’re two separate mechanisms that are both bloated right now)

Going by Yoshida's statement, servers are now hitting the point of capacity that people are stopping others from logging in now simply by being in the game, as a separate issue to the normal login queue.

They wouldn't be implementing the forced logout if it was just a matter of letting people in slowly.
