What the hell do you mean by that? What biology? Are you putting real world science onto these fictional races? If you mean by demihumans then I understand. The term, Beastraces, is just a social construct term invented by the Ul-dah city state which was later adopted by other states in Eorzea. Same for the term, Human, as well. The context of these terms aren't the same as we use in real life. The "human" or the Spoken races aren't Humans as in our species, and really, there is no species in the world of FFXIV as Humans either. The Hyur are the most Human in their appearance but that's about it.

So..anything that looks Human is a Human? I guess the Asari from the Mass Effect franchise are also biological Humans to you then? You're mistaking certain terms together like Human and Humanoid which the -oid suffix is Greek for appearance or looks. There's a term for Humanoid non-Human races and that's called demihumans. So? The Amaljah are certainly egg layers while the Goblins or the Qiqirns are Mammals. How does their sexual reproduction has anything to do with the biological differences between beasts and man? These terms are just social constructs. Hell, even the Eorzea enclylopedia took shots at this term, and call the beast tribes as men.

Don't conflate the race's appearance with biology. There are races that are more Humanoid than others, yes, but that doesn't mean anything in the end. The Hrothgars are the most beast-like..yet, why aren't they considered to be Beast tribe like say the Lupin who are even less beast-like in appearance and attitudes than the former? Back your claims with actual sources than applying the real world meaning of human and beasts to the world of FFXIV. Both terms(Humans and Beastmen) are man-made, and they're not biological terms either.

As a sidenote, am I the only one who dislikes the unity of all the Alliance people? Maybe dislike is a strong word, but I'm not the biggest fan of this cuddly 'we're now all friends uwu, let's fight the evil moustache guy'. After having replayed ARR recently I really felt the friction between factions and now it's just sunshine and rainbows. But maybe I'll eat my words like my non-equippable hat come Endwalker. Who knows.
What does their sexual reproduction have anything to do with it? Btw, there are mammals today that lays eggs; echidnas and platypus. Why are you applying real world taxonomy with the world of FFXIV? Holy shit.
