Afk players.

You should add a afk timer to the game. Like where if a player is afk for more than 10 minutes it disconnects them from the game. I see player thats been afk in same spot for hours and even some days. If they added a afk timer it would also help with servers being locked

That would be nice. As a new player (sprout) it’s really annoying to log in with a 5-20 min (maybe more) wait, only to see half the population in a major quest hub is AFK.

They will implement afk timers post expac launch or anytime the servers get super congested. But if the servers are not being over stressed and people are able to log in without issues there really doesn't need to be one. And a 20 minute wait to log in? I have never, even at peak post expac days, have seen a wait that is more than a couple mins.

Some worlds are more likely to experience congestion than others. You can't judge everyone's experience by your own.

And as a person who has to go randomly afk sometimes with no warning, I fully agree with wanting an afk timer. Sometimes I plan to go afk for just a minute to run to the bathroom, and wind up being gone for an hour when my housemate catches me and drags me into something. I don't want my character just lurking around not doing anything.

Ill copy paste what I said in another thread, it may make you feel a little better about this situation.

I’d like to point out that the queue isn’t because of players NOT logged out, but instead of players logging in at the same time as you. Thats why when servers shut down accidentally, you’ll log in to queues of 2000+. 2000+ people are trying to log in at the same time as you.
