RMT?

I often see multiple groups that look exactly like this, all wearing the same low level equipment and all are the same classes. They auto-follow each other around maps killing mobs and doing leve quests, or going in large groups of 6 to 12 to refresh their Leves. I can't think of any other reason except for RMT.

Is this not looked down upon in FF14? I remember in FF11 that some people would rage towards RMT. At one point, it became obvious to spot a group of RMT from a mile away.

I usually don't like going out of my way to get anyone banned or in trouble nor do I plan on reporting anything (unless it directly affects me which is bound to happen eventually), but I am curious about the topic.

How do you react to things like this? Would you report something like this if you saw it?

I just laugh at them, who really needs gil in this game so badly that they'd pay real money for it? Gil flows like water as does SP. They have no affect on my ability to hunt NMs with my LS, so they really have no affect on the game from what I can see.

It is fun to watch them try leves though, they usually just stand there while the timer runs out, their mobs only being just out of agro range.

it really bugs me lol They all have the same first name and they're all lalafells lol

STF fir ffxiv is down untill the game start charging, due to the battle changing taking place. Just take pics/ vid of these and when STF is back up send e-mails with all the info. They will start banning them
Also report gil selling sites. And report anyone you know who buys gil or other services. Thats only way to really stop rmt.

On one hand, who would buy gil, it is SO easy to get.

on the other hand, RMT could really cause some problems when everything in the economy is player made/sold

they also sell items and stuff for real money.
Like power leveling services.

what we can do to help id SE can sicky this is make a thread on each server where ppl list who their retainers are and we just buy from them. So we know who player retainers are and not by from possible rmt retainers.

I do. Everytime. I report individual suspicious characters (bots) aswell.
