To those raging at the ragerS: telling them to deal with it is humerous. They ARE dealing with it. Just because they aren't dealing the same way the rest of us are doesnt mean they aren't stuck waiting it out with the rest of us. To each his own all, I just fail to to understand how someone that is pissed about more delays effects the rest of you. Let em rage if it makes em feel better, its not really hurting anyone.

Oh, I agree. They can deal with it how they like. They chose to deal with it by raging on public forums, sharing their rants with everyone as if every detail of their feelings are ever-important to the world. They should simply accept that when they go on a public forum to rant, people will attack/complain about them. The problem is the ridiculous white knight accusations being tossed around to anyone that simply does not want to put up with unnecessary ranting.

If people are entitled to raging online to deal with their disappointment, others are entitled to rage at their raging to deal with their annoyance. Don't just draw the line wherever you want about what's ok and what isn't. The FFXIV Forums are for discussion and feedback. Not one-sided, pointless raging.

If I'm upset with something I don't go out in public and start ranting among strangers. If I did, I would at least do so expecting them to yell at me to stfu.

One could then argue that raging is just the far right end of the spectrum that is feedback is all I am saying. Expressing displeasure is feedback. My point is, its an open forum, and my guess is , people that rage to that degree are probably LOOKING for people to respond negatively to them, it then gives them a focal point for thier rage since SE rarely responds to that sort of thing. If you were to go out in public and rage, people really would tell you to STFU because your causing a disturbance and distrupting the peace. People writing words in capitol letters on a forum about video games isn't really the same thing at all. Its not disrupting anyones peace, so let em go nuts. They certainly have a right to get irritated at a company that they pay money to for not doing what they said they would do when they said they were going to do it.

Wow, totally off OP now. Thats my bad. Glad to see the devs respond about this, although it still doesn't tell us anything we didnt already know. As always, 'They are working on it" lol. We should make and distribute SE t-shirts with that on the back.

Exactly what I was thinking. However, many people on this forum tend to attack people who actually have legit complaints. I guess they think they are guarding virtue and honor of the company and the devs.
SE is a for profit corporation, they are* here to make money first and foremost. Many of us complain on here but we want the company to do better. You can sugar coat them all you want and chase away complainers with torches and pitchforks. It wont change the fact that their customer relations and PR department are doing crappy job. It doesnt change the fact that again and again they fail to deliver on their promises while charging people.
Others wont even give them a courtesy of a complaint. They will cancel their accounts, leave the game, tell all their friends not to buy it and that spreads like a virus.
