The Manderville Lounge - the saddest place on the saucer.

There's an enormous bar with a single keeper - he stands alone, staring at the oversized, half-naked, golden statue of a "real Manderville man." There are no drinks served; the back of the bar is completely devoid of anything that looks palatable, food or liquid. There are no games to be played. The lounge overlooks a giant spinning catuar, itself the centerpiece of arguably the worst of all the Gold Saucer's GATE activities, and the nexus of what is easily the complex's weakest wing (Mahjong seems to be eternally lost in translation for a good 99 percent of the playerbase; I don't play, and I never see anyone playing). The bar keeper possesses just a single line of text: wondering aloud if he has been exiled to his current station as a form of punishment. The catuar spins. The tables remain empty. Nobody ever comes to the Manderville Lounge.
