I believe this is the best they can do, if I recall correctly they have a condition of some kind that makes writing difficult and have been rather apologetic about it in the past.

I quite like the idea of channeling the egi abilities ourselves. Channel small primal - channel big primal - unleash big primal, could be a rather satisfying gameplay loop if done right.

Ever since we got to channel some phoenix power while having the bird summoned I've thought it would be a pretty neat gimmick to retroactively apply to all the summons.

Took this from the benhmark smn may use more of the primal skills. Assuming based on what summon is out we can use them. But that subject to change.

side note just notice that when they used at skill, ifrit disappeared

Ifrit did not disappear when the smn did the ability it was just in the middle of an auto attack animation. Go frame by frame and you'll still see him

I saw that in the benchmark, hope it's a sign in general as it looks pretty neat~. (Rather than 1 level 90 skill or something for example, it's just a sign of skills to come to SMN).

Self channeling primal skills so clearly like that also makes me think more on Terra Branford, which would be a cool super skill.

i like them just make summoner more like summoner which mean make have carbruncle as families and summon more like Demi-Bahumat

why do i feel yoshi p let his bias control how summoner is because we don't get glamour for carbruncle or Egi we haven't got make the summoner more like summoner in ff games

i think it quite easy to balance a summoner dps

pet 1/2 of black mage damage
summoner 1/2 of black mage damage

then base the summoner debuff on elemantal debuff that consider with Prime they summon or Carbruncle and finally add new carbruncle and Prime to summon
